If you will be at SKEMA’s Raleigh campus this September and are interested in entrepreneurship or intrapreneurship, do not miss attending NC State’s annual festival – Entrepalooza!
It will be held at Stafford Commons, Talley Student Union, on September 12 at 5.30pm. The festival will include an entrepreneurship showcase where you can explore interactive demos and activities hosted by students, faculty and staff, and alumni ventures. This year, SKEMA Ventures has also set up a booth where students can discover the details of the entrepreneurship ecosystem that SKEMA has developed for its students and the activities that are held throughout the year.
Another interesting highlight of Entrepalooza is the ‘minute to pitch it’ competition where 10 student entrepreneurs will be given the opportunity to pitch their business projects to the audience within a minute. The audience and the judges will each select a team that will be awarded $1,000. The last date to register for this competition is September 3.
While you are soaking in the vibrant entrepreneurial environment, you can also munch on free chicken sandwiches from Chick-fil-a, veggie wraps, and delicious gourmet cookies from the Cookie People, a company founded by an NC State alumna.
Though entry to the event is free, the number of tickets is limited (only 200). Reserve your ticket as soon as possible.
More details of the event are available on Entrepalooza’s website.
