If you are working on an innovative project – a product, service or solution – which could have a huge impact on the society, here’s the chance to prove your mettle. The fifth edition of The Morpheus Cup, a unique championship which attracts the best talents among European students to showcase their innovative projects and participate in challenges on various themes, is taking place in Luxembourg on May 22.
The contest, launched in 2015 in response to the upcoming major talent shortage in the European employment market, provides students with a hands-on opportunity to prove their entrepreneurial acumen. It is divided into two main events: The Morpheus Prize and The Morpheus Day.
The Morpheus Prize invites students to present a new product, service, solution, a mobile app or a business strategy they are working on. Three best projects are selected from among different categories to pitch in front of an international jury. The winner receives The Morpheus Prize and up to €8,000 to develop the project.
Morpheus Day is a live competition where participants can compete in teams of two to four people. The objective is to provide innovative solutions in a short timeframe. The competition features a mix of games, quizzes, hackathons and exhibitions and also offers participants the opportunity to meet employers.
For SKEMA students, this will be a good opportunity to network with entrepreneurs from across Europe and present their project on a huge platform.
The deadline to apply for The Morpheus Prize is April 4. For more information, visit www.morpheuscup.com.
