NC State University, one of SKEMA Ventures’ partners based in the U.S., is conducting its annual festival, Entrepalooza, to celebrate entrepreneurship and innovation on September 13 at 5:30 p.m. The event will feature an entrepreneurship showcase which will provide participants the opportunity to experience NC State’s entrepreneurship culture through interactive activities and demos hosted by alumni ventures and students.
One of the highlights of the event is Minute to Pitch It, a session where 15 student entrepreneurs will pitch their idea to the audience within a minute in an attempt to convince them about the feasibility of their plan and win the $1,000 audience choice award.
Participants can also try out delicious cookies by Cookie People, explore a mobile makerspace provided by Betabox Labs, take a test drive in EcoPRT‘s autonomous vehicle, and meet successful entrepreneurs from various fields.
Though the event is free and open to everyone, limited seats are available, and it is recommended to make a reservation online. For more details or to reserve your ticket, visit https://entrepreneurship.ncsu.edu/events/entrepalooza.
