Bootstrap-Fall 2018: An opportunity to substantiate your business plan

To help students transform opportunities into entrepreneurial ventures, SKEMA Ventures is conducting its BOOTSTRAP-Fall 2018 workshop from November 26 to 28 at the Sophia Antipolis Campus. The workshop’s objective is to help students who have an innovative business idea to understand the key issues and challenges of entrepreneurship, explore the ‘entrepreneurial mindset’ and the initial steps of generating a value proposition, design the key components of a business model that would support this value proposition, and finally, formulate the associated business plan.

This will be a good opportunity for you to take your entrepreneurial idea to the next level and obtain the training required to substantiate it. The two-day workshop will culminate in the formulation and presentation of the first version of your business plan in front of professionals. It is open to students from SKEMA Business School and Université Côte d’Azur.

PLEASE NOTE:

  1. The number of spots is limited. Selection will be based on the quality of applications and on first-come, first-serve basis. The deadline for registering is November 20, 12:00 p.m.
  2. Participants are requested to make their own travel and stay arrangements in advance.

Here’s another thing you can look forward to. SKEMA alumni Celine Moliere, co-founder and President of the popular Emilie and the Cool Kids stores, will be one of the speakers at the workshop. The chain raised €1 million in 2017. It began as a 25 sqm store in Nice 10 years ago and has grown to 8 stores now (including one in Reykjavik). The number of its franchises is also increasing steadily. Visit their website http://emiliescookies.com/fr_FR/ for more details.
